In May 2024, East Preston Parish Council held its first Repair Café session. Aligned to the international Repair Café organisation, the monthly sessions aim to repair household items, hopefully giving them a new lease of life and saving them from going to landfill. 

The dates for 2025, so far are:

Saturday, 12th April

Saturday, 10th May

Saturday, 21st June

Each session is held in The Spire Room at St Mary the Virgin Church in Vicarage Lane starting at 10:00 and running until 13:00. No charge is made for a repair but we hope customers will want to give a donation towards running costs of the sessions.
