In May 2024, East Preston Parish Council held its first Repair Café session. Aligned to the international Repair Café organisation, the monthly sessions aim to repair household items, hopefully giving them a new lease of life and saving them from going to landfill. In June 2025, the Repair Café became an independent body within the village.

Each session is currently held in East Preston Infant School, Lashmar Road, BN16 1EZ. Doors open at 10:00 and last entry is at 12:30.
