East Preston Parish Council joins the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Chairman, Cllr Steve Toney, made this statement: “Throughout her life, Her Majesty has been at the heart of British life. For the past 70 years, Her Majesty has led an impeccable life, leading the country to many national and international successes whilst managing her own personal challenges.

“East Preston Parish Council sends all members of the Royal Family its sincere condolences.

“May she rest in peace.”

A physical book of condolence will be available at the Council Office during normal office hours.

Flowers may be left at St Mary the Virgin Church, Vicarage Lane, East Preston.
